My Goals for 2014

2014-new-year

I’m a sucker for New Year’s Resolutions. I like structure, and what better than a firm date when you’re going to establish goals. This year, my list is long. I’ve got personal resolutions (don’t flake out on friends), mom resolutions (stop trying to get my daughter to be like me), health resolutions (cut out sugar) and financial resolutions (no more spontaneous purchases). And of course I’ve got hair resolutions.

You’d think with the abundance of amazing products than come through the doors that I’d be pampering my hair all the time. But months can go by without a deep conditioning treatment. I’m constantly encouraging readers to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Yet when it comes to my own head of 3B curls, I don’t follow that advice enough. I get lazy. So in 2014, at least once a week, I will do a deep treatment. I’ll do it before I do my weekly house cleaning (another one of my resolutions). Why not kill two birds with one stone?
