I can’t watch the Oscar’s without focusing on the hair. It’s the occupational hazard of my job. There have been the years where all the hair is stick straight and the years when tousled texture ruled the red carpet.

The 2014 Oscar’s were all about individuality. There was no ONE trend. You had Lupita Nyong'o’s adorable TWA and Angelina Jolie and Kate Hudson with their long, loose tousled waves. There were messy updo’s and pixies. The trend was that there was no one trend – no one standard of beauty. It’s about creating your own unique style rather than having it dictated to you arbitrarily from one season to the next.
